On Saturday, October 12, head over to Pioneer Park for the Canyonville Pumpkin & Music Celebration. Look for pumpkin carving contest, giant pumpkin contest, scarecrow contest, tall tales, seed spitting, and pie eating. Enjoy the music, car show, animal show and free hay rides.

Pumpkin Festival, Barnesville, OH

Barnesville, OH is holding their 50th Pumpkin Festival this year September 26 through the 29th.  Are you in the mood to watch pumpkin rolling or hog calling? Take in the quilt show, the pumpkin parade, and the old farm machinery display. Saturday’s 5K run/walk could help burn off some treats if you decide to take part in the pumpkin pie eating contest. Maybe horseshoes, a fiddle contest, or a tractor cruise are more your style. There is a weigh-in of champion pumpkins and the king pumpkin is available at auction.
